An all-star line-up of chefs has been confirmed for this year’s Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink including Tom Kerridge who will join festival co-founder Michael Caines MBE in the cookery theatre on the Sunday.

Seven Michelin-starred chefs are among the line-up this year, including Tom Kerridge (The Hand and Flowers), Michael Caines MBE (Lympstone Manor), Simon Hulstone (The Elephant), Paul Ainsworth (No6), Michael Wignall (Gidleigh Park), Mark Dodson (The Masons Arms) and Josh Eggleton (The Pony & Trap), alongside a further 30 talented chefs demonstrating. The seven award-winning chefs will be performing live demos across Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st May in the Festival Cookery Theatre.

The three-day Festival is a celebration of the South West’s Food and Drink producers and top chefs, taking place over the early May bank holiday weekend (Saturday 29th April to Monday 1st May 2017) at Exeter Castle and the surrounding Northernhay Gardens.

For more information or to buy tickets visit the Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink website.

Recipe to try...

Cooking this weekend? Tom Kerridge has recreated his old-school favourite, Lancashire hot pot, using a different cut of lamb. Shanks provide you with perfect portion control – one each. Crammed with vegetables too, this one-pot dinner is a real crowd pleaser.
