Warwick Corporate Events spruces up the festival

Thanks to Warwick Corporate Events (www.wce.co.uk ), there will be a dedicated stage, Warwick Corporate Events logo sound & lighting system in the Castle Courtyard for the Festival After Dark bands to do their 'thang' on!

Warwick are doing a cracking job this year (as always) of ensuring the sound systems in the Castle Cookery Theatre and the Darts Farm Food is Fun tipis are tip top for all to enjoy. We couldn't do it without them so big thanks to David and his team.

Anyone wanting a pro event equipment supplier to funk up their event, check out Warwick's website for details: http://www.wce.co.uk

Don't miss the Tuscany-Devon 'Cook-Off' - Sunday 11am - 12.30pm

The Exeter Festival has over many years established important and valuable links with the region of Tuscany and, once again, there is a strong Tuscan presence here. For this special Tuscany-Devon Cook-off, we have invited a team of Tuscan chefs, led by Michela Passetti of I Cavatappi Restaurant (near Pisa) to cook alongside a team of Devon chefs, led by Tom Williams-Hawkes, Executive Chef at ABode Exeter.

Each team will be presented with seasonal, local South West produce and ingredients and invited to conceive and prepare a variety of dishes. It should be fascinating to see how our wonderful local and seasonal produce is transformed by these talented chefs into dishes that are reflections of two very different but equally rich food cultures. This international event is part of a Festival initiative to twin Devon with Tuscany as food regions.
