Value-for-money holidays to Tunisia are being considered for the cost-conscious together with Turkey, Bulgaria and Croatia.

National Farmers Union - www.nfuonline.com
The NFU is its members - created and run by them in conjunction with highly skilled and motivated staff. One of the country's top trade associations, it is the voice of British farming with each and every member benefiting from its hugely influential representational role as the foremost agricultural and horticultural lobbying body in the UK and Europe.
Its uniqueness and strength lies in its roots having been established in 1908 through a federation of county organisations giving it a vigorous grassroots branch network with considerable cumulative clout nationally and internationally.
It is particularly vigorous and necessary in the South West, the nation's farming powerhouse and a region of great scenic beauty, where 80 per cent of the land area is managed by farmers - the majority involved in pastoral livestock enterprises - who continue to face considerable challenges.
As well as its representational role, the NFU provides its members with technical advice, access to free legal advice, cost-cutting business guides, publications, substantial discounts on products and services and industry intelligence.
Anybody serious about farming and growing should seriously consider the personal, business level benefits and collaborative industry strength NFU membership confers.
